Janette Blainey BA Dip Ed
Janette is co-founder and Executive Director of the Earth Trust. She has a background in education, intercultural communication and conflict management.
Janette has worked with Indigenous people in Australia and the Pacific for more than thirty years. This has helped inform her collaborative way of working, in communities and in business. Janette is committed to building communities on a local and global level and to having the perspectives of Indigenous Elders be included in the development of policies and practical solutions at all levels.
Janette serves on the board of Warrina Women and Children’s Refuge in Coffs Harbour. She was Chair of the Australian Chapter of the World Business Academy and is currently a Director of miVitals Technology Pty Ltd an innovative business, which enables people to consolidate their health information online. She is co-author of the book, ‘Going Home.’
Brynnie Goodwill JD AB
Brynnie is passionate about the environment and has a background in law, politics and mediation.
Brynnie builds businesses that contribute to the well-being of the planet. She brings vision and values into existing companies and helps to establish businesses that contribute to a sustainable future.
While living in New York, she practiced law and served on the Board of the Community Services Society, helping to establish a community empowerment program. She also worked to increase the number of women in government. After migrating to Australia, Brynnie established the Cultural Diversity Program of the global Conflict Resolution Network and was a Director of the consulting firm, Working Together (Aust.) Pty Ltd.
Brynnie is a Director of the BKG Group. She is an accredited presenter of the Al Gore Climate Project.
Robert Rosen B Ec
Robert has been involved in a range of environmental issues in Australia over the last 28 years. He has a background in accounting, real estate and investment.
He has been a Director & Treasurer of Bush Heritage Australia, National Secretary of the Australian Green Party, Member of the Finance Committee of Greenpeace Australia and Chair of the Nature Conservation Trust of NSW. Currently, Robert is a Director of Rainforest Rescue.
Robert also played a pioneering role in the development of the ethical investment industry in Australia and is a former Director of the Responsible Investment Association and the Hong Kong based Association for Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA).
John Haigh
John is co-founder of the Earth Trust. He has a background in metaphysics, publishing and marketing.
He spent his formative years in England and migrated to Australia in 1960s. He came to love and respect the land and ocean on the east coast of Australia. He spent ten years living on the land and writing ‘Serving Planet Earth’ and ‘Going Home’.
John is a visionary and as such serves to guide ventures. He has advised, supported and invested in companies during their early growth and development.
Richard Melnick
Richard has been a private investor for 20 years, with particular interest in companies operating in the health-care and life sciences sectors.
He founded the Earth Environmental Trust Inc in the USA, which was successful in financially supporting a number of sensitive environmental projects in the rainforest region of the Amazon, Lake Baikal in eastern Siberia and water monitoring in San Francisco Bay area.
He lives in Colorado where he is able to be with the mountains.
