Our way

‘Our way’ expresses the way we work with all our people, partners and projects in achieving our purpose to care for the natural environment

The principles that guide our way of working are:

Respect for the ‘interconnectedness of all life’

Respect for the living environment (local and global)

Recognition that the ‘Sacred’ has a place in caring for the natural world

Respect for Indigenous peoples and their place as custodians of the Earth

Respect for Elders and the wisdom they have to offer

Recognition of the place of ‘youth’ in the future and the value of their contribution

Recognition that collaboration and cooperation are fundamental to life

Recognition of the value of diversity of all life - in the natural environment and of all peoples

Recognition of the importance of respectful communication, honesty, openness and transparency

Respectful and appropriate consultation wherever possible.
